4th edition Health Innovation Euregion

Dear (starting and established) entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial scientists, innovators and collaborators in healthcare! Especially for you we are organizing – already for the fourth time – the Health Innovation Euregion Event.

June 12, from 12 to 18 hours you are welcome in Maastricht. Prior to the event there is the possibility for speed dating (from 10.30 – 12.00 hours).

In April we expect to post the program and the possibility to register.

_{What is the Health Innovation Euregion Event?}  

In a nutshell, the event is an initiative by members of LifetecZONe: Medtronic,  LifetecZONe, LIOF, Brightlands, Rabobank, the Municipality of Maastricht and non-member Medace for anyone working to bring to market innovations in healthcare and the life sciences of the future. Especially for start ups. 

Nearly everyone who has ever attempted to implement a great idea will have faced a series of obstacles at some point. In fact, these challenges are part and parcel of life as an entrepreneur. That said, one thing we’ve learnt along the way is that entrepreneurship is so much easier, better, and more enjoyable when you have access to tips, answers, advice, and support from all the right people — especially when you’re first setting out. This might include professionals, as well as individuals who’ve been on the same journey as you when implementing their fantastic ideals and great ideas. Health Innnovation Euregion wants to be ‘the bridge’ to these knowledge.

Health Innovation Euregion 2025 loves bringing together fledgling entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial scientists, and established SMEs in the Euregion. But we don’t stop there: a wide range of relevant entities and parties, investors, experienced entrepreneurs, and other people who might be able to lend a hand are also thrown into the mix. The result is a network of people who can point you in the right direction towards your goal.  

Once again, we will invite a diverse range of speakers who are more than happy to share their experience as entrepreneurs. Sure, there will be success stories, but rooted in the idea that people often learn the most from the mistakes they make along the way, you’ll also hear anecdotes about pitfalls, misunderstandings, and picking yourself up and starting again.

On top of that, this year, representatives from the different ecosystems in the Euregion will set out how they support entrepreneurs and provide insight into the strategic developments that are taking place.

Of course, there will also be plenty of time to meet each other in person and network before and after the keynote speeches. Even before lunch, you’ll get the chance to speed date with new contacts in a one-on-one setting. We expect around 200 guests.
